As most of you know I work in the marketing organization of Lotus. ? So today's post is going to deviate a bit from my Lotus Notes tips, and discuss marketing.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on why "360" has become the moniker du jour? ? ?XBox360. Nike360. ?ESPN360? ? I'm confused!!!

Does this mean these products have come "full circle"? ?Is it an attempt to "be cool" and relate to the youth extreme sports culture where 360 is a term for spins? ? ?Would Lotus360, or Notes360 sell more products? ? How about Notes420? ?Is this silly 360 naming a North American trend only, or does it translate world wide?

Please share your thoughts. ? ?BTW, my mention of new Notes names above is completely in jest, not something we are planning on doing.
